"Beach Storm" is a slight departure from Michelle's typically vibrant color palette. Nevertheless, the evocation of emotion and reminiscence is palpable in the darker tones of this piece. The dance between the ocean and lightning is provocative, dangerous and deadly - yet we find ourselves so fixated by the show that we remain motionless...until we feel the concussive thunder and we smell the distinctive odors of saltwater and ozone.
